Yami’s Easy Lentil Soup

2 Teaspoons Yami’s Spicy Secrets Curry Powder
½ teaspoon turmeric
½ cup chopped onions
2 cloves minced garlic
¼ teaspoon sea salt
Juice of 1 lemon or lime
1 tablespoon sesame oil (or your choice)
2 cups water or (vegetable broth optional)
1 ½ cups red lentils
1 cup coconut milk
Add chilies, tofu or fish to your taste
Small amount of chopped cilantro for garnish

Pre-wash lentils until water is clear, prep onions and garlic
1. Heat oil in saucepan large enough to hold all ingredients.
2. Add onions, garlic, Yami’s curry powder , stirring until browned
3. Add all other ingredients except coconut milk
4. Cook on medium heat until lentils are soft
5. Add coconut milk and simmer on low heat
6. Add cilantro as garnish
